CDC says getting these 3 vaccine side-effects is a good thing

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said it’s good to get these three COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

Coronavirus vaccines are rolling out around the country, and now the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said if you get these three side effects, it’s a good thing.

Understandably, the American people are concerned about any potential side-effects from the COVID-19 vaccines. People should be notified of any potential side-effects, but just because there are side-effects, it doesn’t mean that is a bad thing, at least according to the CDC.

Amanda Cohn, MD, CAPT, USPHS, a member of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, recently said that people should be on the lookout for three key side-effects after they receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Cohn says that while the side-effects may be uncomfortable, they will pass within two days, and experiencing side-effects from the vaccine is actually a display of your immune system developing new levels of protection.

Here’s what Cohn said, “It’s not COVID. It’s your body building an immune response to the protein that is mimicking the disease. People do have mild reactions to the vaccines, especially after the second dose”.

Cohn said that people should be watching out for these three side-effects; “People should be prepared to have pain, potentially fatigue, and a low-grade fever.”
