Lisa Curry has given her followers a poignant update on how she’s doing in the wake of her daughter Jaimi’s death.
She took to Instagram to reveal that she’s “still crying at any time” and has realised she can’t hold it in.
The three-time Australian Olympian’s eldest daughter died on September 13 from an undisclosed long-term illness.
Jaimi was just 33 when she died, devastating her close-knit family.
Since her daughter’s death, the 58-year-old has shared a number of updates with her followers as she navigates her way through grief.
On Monday, she posted to Instagram as she contemplates heading off on the On The Road Again tour with her husband Mark Tabone.
“Our new Happy Bus is ready to go as soon as I can get my head around being on stage again… but I feel like I’ve lost my sparkle,” she said.
“So need a bit more time to find it… I’m still crying at any time… usually when I’m out in public when people give me beautiful tight hugs.
“The tears just roll out… but I’m letting them… I’ve realised I can’t hold it in.
“I will be doing some regional and rural Happy Healthy You workshops and Mark will be entertaining you so stay tuned for our tour.”
On Valentines Day, she also posted about her daughter, saying there wasn’t a moment she didn’t think about Jaimi.
“Our beautiful girl who loved flowers for any occasion, in fact… there really didn’t need to be an occasion because flowers just brightened up her day.. any day,” she said.
“5 months have passed but she’s never forgotten…. ever.”
