Pregnant Paloma Faith was rushed to hospital as the star prayed the baby doesn’t arrive early.
She’s expecting her second baby with her partner Leyman Lahcine.
The singing sensation, 39, made an emergency trip to the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit (MFAU) after lower abdominal cramps on Monday.
In a candid Instagram, Paloma shared her prayers she hopes her baby doesn’t arrive early like her four-year-old daughter did.
The chart-topper opened up to her 582k fans on Monday with an update on her pregnancy.
She wrote: “We were in the MFAU last night cause I’ve had some lower abdominal cramps… b***dy praying this one doesn’t come early like the last!”
Her words were accompanied with a picture of her naked blossoming baby bump.
Also, Paloma confided in her followers about her swollen her feet.
She wrote: “Look at this water retention!!! I just pressed my ankle and this remained imprinted for a good 3 mins.”
In December, Paloma opened up about why she had been so forthcoming with her second pregnancy.
Her first pregnancy left the star feeling “fragile”.
She told BBC Sounds: “I think it’s important because with my first child I wasn’t honest and I struggled with that, everyone was treating me like a normal pregnant person. But I didn’t feel like one, I felt a bit fragile.
“I couldn’t be happy about being pregnant because it was so hard to get there, why would it stay there, so this time I’ve been feeling better because I’ve been open about it.
“The fact my pregnancies aren’t that strong and I have to be careful. I also do it because other women need to hear those things. The process of being pregnant itself is difficult.”
It was in September when Paloma told her fans the happy news she was pregnant again.
She wrote: “It is with extreme please I announce I am pregnant. I am going to be releasing new music at this time and wanted to feel free in my body as it changes before all our eyes!
“I love my job and can’t wait for you all to hear my 5th album and I will be out and about playing as much this crazy time will allow (also a tour next year). I am not a skinny pregnant person and I am also high risk in pregnancy…
“This child is so wanted, it’s my 6th round of IVF and was a struggle to get here. I had a very traumatic first birth and I am prone to postpartum depression. Being a mother is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me but I will swell up and I won’t glow!
“I intend to be very real about this with you all! To all the other pregnant women out there who are as in love with their babies as me but simultaneously sh**ing ourselves, let’s do this.”
