The ‘Same Old Love’ hitmaker has been best friends with the 25-year-old singer for eight years and considers her family. Asked about her pal, the brunette beauty said: ”She’s like a sister to me.” Selena previously revealed the duo formed a close bond when they dated brothers Nick and Joe Jonas. The 23-year-old singer said: ”Taylor and I dated Jonas bothers together. We met when she was 18. I was 15 or 16. She was so great to me. Then we became best friends. She would fly out to see me when I was going through something really hard. We’d eat a lot of fattening food and vent.”

Selena recently praised Taylor Swift for encouraging her to be more open and helping her to make more friends in the industry. She said: ”Taylor is a lot more trusting than I am.
