Paulina Gretzky is taken! Wayne Gretzky’s daughter is newly engaged to pro golfer Dustin Johnson, she confirmed via Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 17.
“Never Been Happier @djohnsonpga,” the Canadian 24-year-old wrote, sharing a picture of the two kissing. Gretzsky also showed off her new diamond ring. Gretzky’s brother, Trevor, later tweeted, “Congrats to my sister @PaulinaGretzky and @DJohnsonPGA on the engagement. Love you guys.”
The model and Johnson, 29, have only recently started dating in early 2013. The newly engaged pair were first outed as a couple when Gretzky joined the athlete in Kapalua, Hawaii for the 2013 PGA Tour back in January. Johnson won the PGA Tour opener and eventually took home the $1.1 million grand prize.
Gretzky has been previously linked to Los Angeles Kings player Jarrett Stoll, and Johnson was rumored to be dating professional women’s golfer Natalie Gulbis. The pair have previously denied both relationships.
