Kate Middleton’s New Due Date Revealed By Her Mom

Kate Middletons New Due Date

Kate’s July 13 due date has come and gone, but the Duchess is still pregnant! Could she and Prince William have intentionally been vague about the due date? Kate’s mom Carole Middleton has reportedly spilled the beans about a much later due date!

The world is waiting with bated breath for the royal baby to arrive, but it may not be as soon as we all think! Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s supposed due date of July 13 has passed, but we now know that that may not have been her real due date!

Kate Middleton Allegedly Not Due Until July 23

Kate’s mom Carole Middleton reportedly told her friends that the baby will be a Leo, meaning the newborn isn’t supposed to arrive for a few more days!

Kate’s due date may not be for another week or so, according to NBC. The news site reports that Kate’s mom Carole may have spilled the beans about her daughter’s real due date by revealing the baby’s astrological sign! The grandmother-to-be allegedly told friends that the royal baby will be a Leo, which means that Kate would not give birth until at least July 23.

Evidence of Kate and William’s Later Due Date

News of a later due date would certainly make complete sense, especially taking into account the other evidence of a July 23 due date.

For one, the Palace has never officially announced the day the baby is slated to be born, only the month. William’s friends reportedly revealed the July 13 due date, but in an official statement, the Clarence House official website confirmed the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting. The statement read:

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July.

William’s friends reportedly revealed the July 13 date, not the palace — the couple could have been keeping the real due date under wraps after all!

The July 23 due date would also explain why Prince William participated in a charity polo match 100 miles away from his wife, the weekend of her due date! It would seem awful risky to sign up for an event that far away from the hospital if he thought she would go into labor that weekend.

When it was revealed that Kate had fled the high temperatures of her Nottingham Cottage home in favor of the cooler temperatures at her parents’ home in Bucklebury – an hour away from the London hospital where Kate is supposed to give birth — the public was concerned that Kate would not make it back to London in time for the birth. But if Kate and Will aren’t due until July 23, they have plenty of time for the Duchess to relax surrounded by her family, and still return home to give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital!

Were Will and Kate Afraid of Going Into Labor Early?

Going into early labor is not uncommon, so Kate may have been intentionally vague about her due date to ensure that the world would be ready for the royal arrival. Kate may have been worried that an early delivery would leave people scrambling to prepare for the birth of the new heir to the throne, which is a worldwide event. After Kim Kardashian had to deliver her first child five weeks early just last month, it seems like Kate’s decision was for the better! The world is waiting on pins and needles for the heir to the royal throne to arrive, and everyone is ready!
