They are best known for their tempestuous relationship on The Only Way Is Essex. But despite their famous ups and downs, Jessica Wright and her boyfriend Ricky Rayment teased fans that they may have taken the next step in their relationship when they arrived back from holiday on Tuesday morning. The brunette showed off some sparkly new jewellery on her ring finger, causing speculation Ricky had proposed to her while they were away.
The couple were spotted arriving home at London’s Gatwick airport after a romantic holiday together in Florida with Jessica sporting a rather huge sparkler on her engagement finger. And she did nothing to dispel speculation as she happily flaunted the gift for all to see, even posing for photographs stroking his face with the sparkler on full show. But a representative for the reality TV star has now revealed to the MailOnline that although Ricky did buy the ring for Jessica and present it to her on the trip, they are not actually engaged.
The spokesperson said: ‘Jess informs me the ring is a present from Ricky but it is not an engagement ring and he hasn’t proposed.’ Although she was clearly ecstatic from the getaway as she appeared relaxed and happy. Jessica, 27, showed off her slim-line figure in an all black outfit offset by a pair of quirky, pink UGG boots. The TOWIE star’s trademark long dark hair was swept back off her face showcasing her beaming smile.
Meanwhile Ricky, 21, was colour co-ordinated in an all black sporty outfit with a pink and black hat- matching his girlfriend perfectly. The loved up reality stars, who no doubt enjoyed a jolly holiday together, only had eyes for each other as they shared a kiss and a giggle in view of the waiting cameras. After the exhausting airport check in process, it seems the couple arrived home together in one piece.
Earlier today, avid tweeter Jessica took to the social networking site and wrote ‘back home with my bubba.’ The couple originally broke up last October following an argument at the end of the last series of TOWIE after Jessica went on a rare night out with her female pals. When Ricky met her in the bar at the end of their evening she told him: ‘I am upset,’ due to Ricky’s desire to spend more time with his male pal Little Chris.
Ricky then told a teary Jessica: ‘I think we’re in different places. I wanted a relationship, but I didn’t want this relationship. ‘I thought I was ready but I’m not mentally ready to be there all the time. I don’t think I’m ready for that.’ Jess then protested that she wanted to have a fun relationship, to which Rayment argued: ‘We’re not having fun’. But it seems the pair who reunited last November after just a week apart have put their differences behind them as their off screen romance appears to go from strength to strength. – Dailymail
