Though, the famous Michelle Pfeiffer often described her childhood as an out of control kid, but as she grew up she proved herself as a controlled and well-organized human being to the world.

Michelle Pfeiffer began her unofficial showbiz career after high school, when she studied to be a courtroom stenographer and entered a beauty pageant, where she turned out to be the winner of Miss Orange County in 1978. Due to this victory, Michelle Pfeiffer landed a bit part on the hit 1970s show, “Fantasy Island”. At the age of 20, Michelle Pfeiffer landed her first regular series role, playing “Bombshell” on “Delta House”.

With these small roles, the acting career of Michelle Pfeiffer actually launched. However, Michelle Pfeiffer came into spotlight in 80s with the police drama “B.A.D. Cats” and the teen comedy “Falling in Love Again”.

In 1981, Michelle Pfeiffer married fellow actor Peter Horton and meanwhile pursued her career by landing roles in long-forgotten features like “Charlie Chan and the Curse of the Dragon Queen” and “Grease 2”. However, her most memorable character is Elvira Hancock, which Michelle Pfeiffer portrayed in violent “Scarface” opposite Al Pacino. Michelle Pfeiffer gained much popularity as the jaded mistress of a Cuban drug lord. The appearance and performance in “Scarface” became the turning point of Michelle Pfeiffer’s career.

While fame knocked at the door of Michelle Pfeiffer, she rarely went out of her way to revel her celebrity life. Besides her beauty and acting talent, Michelle Pfeiffer is famously known for guarding her privacy. It is said that Michelle Pfeiffer is much like her character of the icy Elvira, she portrayed in the iconic “Scarface” in 1983.

After the success of “Scarface”, the acting career of Michelle Pfeiffer continued in upward trajectory and she landed various lead roles in “Into the Night” and “Sweet Liberty”. The next major career milestone for Michelle Pfeiffer turned out to be “The Witches of Eastwick” in 1987, which was a memorable and fantastical black comedy about the friendship of three women. In 1988, Michelle Pfeiffer received recognition by getting her first Academy Award nomination for “Dangerous Liaisons”, in which she portrayed the highly moral married woman. By the year 1990, Michelle Pfeiffer’s personal life got a twist and she got divorced from husband Peter Horton.

The acting career of Michelle continued in 1990s with some ups and downs. Michelle Pfeiffer has latest joined Johnny Depp and Eva Green for gothic fantasy “Dark Shadows” in 2012.
