MTV Movie Awards 2016: Complete List of Nominees

MTV Movie Awards

Who will bring home the golden popcorn this year? The Oscars are over, but don’t roll up that red carpet just yet. The 25th MTV Movie Awards are set to take place on April 10 at 8 p.m. in Burbank, California and on Tuesday, March 8, the network announced the complete list of nominees. Along with the traditional categories like Movie of the Year and Best Female Performance, two new categories are featured in the year’s show: True Story and Documentary. These categories include Oscar-nominated films such as The Revenant and the Hunting Ground.MTV Movie Awards 2016

There are also, of course, awards for Best Kiss, Best Villain and Best Fight. The nominees, which include Rebel Wilson, Ryan Reynolds, Daisy Ridley and Will Smith, have all been decided by producers and executives at MTV and you can vote online for your favorites today. This year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart — both of whom are nominated — will be hosting the event at the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank.
